Shades Of Blues is a weekly radio show on The Cat, a community radio station based in Nantwich, Cheshire. Shades Of Blues began as Midweek Blues on the 1st of June 2011 with presenters Jen Van-Cauter and Shaun Bebbington. Kev ' Legs' Walker took over from Shaun in September 2011 when Shaun went to university.Later that year it became Monday Morning Blues, then in August 2014 changes to the schedule meant it became Shades Of Blues and broadcast on a Sunday evening.
Presenter Kev 'Legs' Walker plays a range of blues music from Country Blues and Jug Bands to Modern and Electric Blues. The catalogue of music spans nine decades.
Shades Of Blues goes out at 5pm every Sunday on The Cat and each show is also available after broadcast on the Listen Again feature provided by Mixcloud.

Kev 'Legs' Walker
Kev is a seasoned Cat presenter, and has a broad knowledge of music. He has played bass in various bands through the years, and has many an anecdote to share. Kev is our expert on the more modern blues styles.Though it is oft talked about, apparently Kev would like the listeners to believe that he doesn't actually eat bugs, but there is one on the homepage in case he gets peckish. Kev came to the show with a blues name already!
